Do You Have A Pondless Waterfall Project We Can Help With?

Pondless Waterfalls

A pondless waterfall is a re-circulating waterfall not attached to a pond. Pondless waterfalls can come with or without a stream. These waterfalls are perfect for families who want to enjoy the peaceful sound of running water without all the upkeep that comes with owning a pond.

Pondless waterfalls are also a great choice for you if you own a smaller yard or if you have safety concerns with having a pond. Waterfalls are the most beautiful and wished-for water features and, with a pondless waterfall, you can have all the beauty of a waterfall without all the hassle of having to take care of a pond!

Energy efficient – no ecological need to run the system continuously.
Set a timer – ideal for vacations and night/day settings.

Why Are We The Best?

Our water features are not just combinations of fish, rock, water, frogs and dragonflies — they are areas of meditation, points of exploration for children and meeting places for friends and family. It’s not about the water gardens; it’s about the lifestyle we help bring to our customers who enjoy the great outdoors.

We’re crazy about water features. Yards are like blank canvasses to us, and we paint with water. Where most might see a hill, an entryway, a yard, or any random patch of grass, we see a waterfall coming into a stream or pond.

We like to mix things up, with different sized features and different types of rock. The goal is to make the water fit the yard, and whether it’s a Dallas suburban home or a Florida tropical escape, we create a place of relaxation, peace and tranquility.

The Water Feature Lifestyle

Why Pondless Waterfalls?

Pondless® Waterfalls are simply a re-circulating waterfall and/or stream without the presence of a pond. You can enjoy the sight and sound of running water without the maintenance of a pond.

The waterfall is undoubtedly the most beautiful and favored feature in a water garden. If space is lacking in your yard or you have safety concerns with a pond, go Pondless®! The name basically explains it all. It’s a waterfall and stream, without the pond. So why would you want a waterfall without a pond? The truth is that a Pondless® Waterfall isn’t for everyone, but it can be a great alternative for someone who isn’t quite sure if a pond is right for their family.

Safety

Owning a pond brings up some very real safety concerns for some families. With a pondless waterfall, there is no standing pool of water, so you can relax knowing that your water feature is safer than a pond and will better suit your family’s needs!

Space

Our pondless waterfalls are small and easy to place, leaving you with more location choices! They can be placed in many smaller spots that a larger water feature could not. A pondless waterfall can fit almost anywhere in your yard!

Maintenance

It’s easy to take care of a pondless waterfall! Unlike traditional ponds, which sometimes require hours of upkeep a week, all you have to do to maintain your pondless waterfall is refill the reservoir every few weeks to compensate for the natural loss of water due to evaporation.

Flexibility

Another great feature of a pondless waterfall is its adaptability. If you install one, but later decide you want to build a pond around your waterfall, you can easily add a pond onto your pondless waterfall! Just leave room around the base when you install it your considering a pond addition.

How It Works

You may be wondering how a waterfall and stream can exist without a pond. Where does the water go?

Much like a traditional pond, a pondless waterfall utilizes a form of water circulation. However, unlike a normal pond, the hole dug for a pondless waterfall is much deeper and lined with rock and gravel before being filled with water.

The water is pumped up through a BioFalls Filter. The water is pumped to the rock and gravel above through a pipe that sits beneath the water feature, inside a Snorkel Vault and Centipede Module to form the pondless waterfall. After the water flows over your waterfall, it falls back into the reservoir and the cycle repeats.

Because the water from the reservoir never pools above the rock and gravel fill, the waterfall has the appearance of being “pondless” while the reservoir acts as the pond, deep underground.

Pondless waterfalls have made it possible for many who love the sound of water falling but, for various reasons, are unable to have a pond feel like they’re in a waterfall paradise. And all from the comfort and safety their own yard! You too can experience the joy of waterfalls with your own pondless waterfall!

Final Note: When it comes to building a pondless waterfall it is better to hire a professional. If you are a going to tackle this project on your own it best to hire a Pond Construction Expert for a consultation so they can give you a lot of tips and pointers so you don’t run into any major problems.
